Hello again,
I’ve tried to read the Arabic and it sounds like there are questions over the sharewadi valuations. It’s difficult to get it right – I’m sure you all know that. You may remember speculation at the time of the TAQA IPO that the shares would float at 10-20 dhs!
Anyway, now it’s 2007 and like hishamss says, by 2010 they could easily be worth 5-10 dhs. Abu Dhabi population is growing rapidly and TAQA has agreements with ADWEA etc to supply utilities that will keep generating increasing cashflow. It would be useful to know what sort of dividend, if any, Taqa intend to pay, and if they have a payout ratio policy.
I think 4 dhs per share looks a little high now but by the end of 2007 it could look quite reasonable, especially if operational profits grow by a similar amount as they did for 2006. I don’t know how likely that is since I haven’t investigated Taqa that much.
اعتقد هالشركة خسرانة!
