Reporting to the Area Engineering Manager, the main purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise to conceive and develop engineering solutions, effectively plan and manage implementation of all electrical systems related to engineering projects. You will be responsible for maintaining contacts with the operation and maintenance departments to forecast plant improvement related to electrical systems and work with a team of engineers to identify customer needs and provide solutions. In addition, you will be involved in the preparation of PDR, detailed engineering work and tender technical evaluations. To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, with 10 – 15 years of experience from an industrial/project background. A postgraduate Diploma in Project Management would be an added advantage. Extensive experience in engineering design in a large plant, project management, operation and maintenance are a prerequisite for the job.
