MECHANICAL ENGINEER – UAE NATIONAL Ref.: T9/9883. A well-established company in Abu Dhabi is seeking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the main purpose of this job is to execute equipment accesses, minor piping and process equipment enhancements. You will be responsible for the preparation of root cause analysis reports and assist the project engineer in the execution of projects. In addition, you are expected to read complex drawings, as well as inspect and monitor quality standards for the projects. To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate should have a Degree/Diploma in Engineering, with 8-10 years of experience from the heavy equipment industry. Candidates should have extensive experience in the installation and testing of mechanical piping equipment, and the ability to read mechanical drawings. Strong knowledge of static and turbo machinery used in process plants would be an advantage. Candidates should have exceptional communication and technical skills to be considered for this vacancy. You must hold a Degree in engineering or construction management, an MSC is preferred, with at least 20 years experience having worked for both a contractor and a consultancy. Middle East experience is essential and preference will be given to those who have previously worked on museum-led developments.
