THE hippopotamus secret two types of acids unique called " hipposudoric acid" and "acid norhipposudoric ". These two acids are strong enough to minimize the growth of bacteria on the skin of the
hippopotamus, they also act as a sunscreen for the skin of this animal because they absorb the UV rays which destroy the cells of the skin. THE hipposudoric acid is of bright red color while the acid
norhipposudoric color is bright orange. All the two merge with the milk of the hippo to give this pink color.
